Erlocip 150 (erlotinib) tablet belongs to the class of drug known as “anticancer,” which is predominantly used to treat pancreatic and lung cancer. In lung cancer, abnormal cells’ proliferation interferes with the cells’ normal functioning, similarly in pancreatic cancer these cells attack the insulin-producing cells.
Erlocip 150 (erlotinib) tablet 30’s consists of ‘Erlotinib‘ which belongs to the class of drug called “kinase inhibitors.” It thoroughly acts by inhibiting or restricting the abnormal protein called epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) activities that cause cancerous cells’ growth and proliferation.
It can also be called a Cytostatic agent. It is used in the advanced treatment of lung cancer and unpredictable metastatic pancreatic cancer combined with gemcitabine in adult victims.

Only take medicine if doctors prescribe it and not according to your will as it has severe side effects.
As it is an oral dosage form, take Erlocip 150 (erlotinib) as instructed by the doctor. It must be taken at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after the meal. Just do not take the medication with the food. Swallow the whole medicine with water, do not chew or break the tablet. Because if it is crushed or broken and comes in contact with skin, it might be detrimental to the skin. Some of the Erlocip’s components may interact with blood-thinning agents such as warfarin and drugs lowering the stomach acid. The aspirin and NSAIDs may increase the risk of stomach bleeding when taken erlotinib.
Smoking cigarettes may reduce the blood levels of Erlocip 150 (erlotinib). The plasma concentration is specifically reduced in smokers as compared to smokers.
Interaction of Erlocip 150 (erlotinib) with statin might boost the potential for statin-induced myopathy, including rhabdomyolysis, which is barely observed.
