Erlocip 150 (erlotinib) tablet belongs to the class of drug known as "anticancer," which is predominantly used to treat pancreatic and lung cancer. In lung cancer, abnormal cells' proliferation interferes with the cells' normal functioning, similarly in pancreatic cancer these cells attack the insulin-producing cells.

Erlocip 150 (erlotinib) tablet 30's consists of 'Erlotinib' which belongs to the class of drug called "kinase inhibitors." It thoroughly acts by inhibiting or restricting the abnormal protein called epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) activities that cause cancerous cells' growth and proliferation.

It can also be called a Cytostatic agent. It is used in the advanced treatment of lung cancer and unpredictable metastatic pancreatic cancer combined with gemcitabine in adult victims.

Interaction of Erlocip 150 (erlotinib) with statin might boost the potential for statin-induced myopathy, including rhabdomyolysis, which is barely observed.
