What is calcium leucovorin injection?
It is used as an adjuvant cancer care treatment to -
Reduce the toxicity and
Side effects of chemotherapy.
Enhance chemotherapy efficacy
Uses of leucovorin
Colorectal cancer (adjuvant to 5-fluorouracil)
Rescue therapy after methotrexate, trimethoprim and methotrexate therapy
Adjuvant to anti-folate agents in blood cancer, lymphomas, solid tumors, etc.

Low RBC count.

Not to be used as a folate supplement.
