It is believed that Ricovir 300mg Tablet is safe to take during pregnancy. However, there is a lack of human research despite evidence of minimal or no harm to the foetus from those conducted on animals.
Breast feeding – SEEK THE ADVICE OF YOUR DOCTOR
It’s likely safe to take Ricovir 300mg Tablet during breastfeeding. There is not enough information about the drug’s effects on humans to determine if it poses a serious risk to the unborn child.
Driving – SEEK THE ADVICE OF YOUR DOCTOR
Ricovir 300mg Tablet may impair alertness, impair eyesight, or make you sleepy and dizzy while driving. If these symptoms appear, do not drive.
Kidney – SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
In patients with severe kidney disease, Ricovir 300mg Tablet should be taken with caution. Ricovir 300mg Tablet dosage may need to be adjusted. Please seek medical advice.
Liver – CAUTION
Patients with liver condition can safely take Ricovir 300mg Tablet. In these patients, it may not be necessary to change the dosage of Ricovir 300mg Tablet, however there is very limited data to support this. Please seek medical advice.
