Sorafina (Sorafenib 200 mg) is used to treat certain types of cancer, including liver cancer, kidney cancer, and thyroid cancer. It belongs to a group of drugs called tyrosine kinase inhibitors. Sorafina is a kinase inhibitor that reduces tumor cell proliferation in vitro. sorafenib 200 mg inhibited tumor growth from tumor xenografts HCC, RCC, and DTC in immune-compromised mice. A reduction in tumor angiogenesis was observed in the HCC and RCC with Sorafina treatment, and an increase in tumor apoptosis was observed in the HCC, RCC and DTC.

Usage of Sorafina

Sorafenib 200 mg tablets slow down the growth of cancer cells. Take this medication once daily on an empty stomach. Take sorafenib 200 mg exactly as your doctor says. Do not crush or chew the tablet. The dosage and duration will be determined by a medical advisor based on your health and needs.

Regular blood pressure monitoring is required while taking these tablets. It is recommended that you stay hydrated and eat healthy while taking Sorafina tablets.

Contraindications

Sorafina tablets are not indicated for use in patients with an allergy to sorafenib.
