Kidney

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Patients with kidney condition can safely take Emtor 1mg Tablet. There is no need to modify the dosage of Emtor 1mg Tablet.

Liver

CAUTION

Patients with acute liver problems should use Emtor 1mg Tablet with caution. A change in the dosage of Emtor 1mg Tablet is possible. Please seek medical advice.

No change in the dosage of Emtor 1mg Tablet is required for patients with mild to moderate liver disease.

Tips

After a kidney transplant, the patient may take a Emtor 1mg Tablet to reduce the risk of rejection.

While you’re taking this prescription, don’t drink grapefruit juice. This is due of a compound found in grapefruit juice that boosts the bioavailability of Emtor 1mg Tablet. Because of this, adverse effects are more probable.

The use of Emtor 1mg Tablet may slightly raise the chance of developing skin cancer. Never use a tanning bed, and stay out of the direct sun if possible (SPF of at least 15).

Blood sugar levels may be affected by this medication in people with diabetes mellitus. Keep an eye on your blood sugar levels and let your doctor know if you notice any dramatic fluctuations.
