The Regorafenib 40 mg (Regonat)  is used to treat colon and rectum cancer. This tablet is also used for gastrointestinal stromal tumors.

The medicine can only be taken under strict medical advice and must be taken with food. It is recommended that this medicine be taken at a fixed time to get the maximum benefit. The dosage of the medicine depends on the doctor. Overdose of this medicine can cause serious side effects, and hence one must proceed with caution. Regorafenib 40 mg  cures colon cancer and minimizes the chance of acquiring further malignant growths (also referred to as polyps). Regorafenib 40 mg is recommended to take this medicine with food for a cycle of 21 days, followed by a resting period of 7 days, wherein you do not consume it for 7 days.

It is advisable to strictly stick to the dosage plan laid out by your doctor and not increase or decrease the dosage as per your liking. Increasing the dosage would not magically make you healthy faster. However, reducing the dosage might prolong the healing process. It is also recommended that the medicine be taken at a particular time every day within the dosage period to get optimum results.

• For pregnant ladies, it is advisable to skip this medicine as some reports suggest that this medicine might be harmful to the baby.
